Wilde Child is a small UK business creating ethically handmade knitwear, personalised gifts and keepsakes for children. Alongside our hand-knitted and hand-embroidered clothing, you’ll find hand-painted brushes and hangers, as well as hand-sewn accessories, many made from beautiful vintage fabrics. Every piece is made with care, celebrating traditional craftsmanship and timeless design.

Everyday Knits

Our Everyday Knits are lovingly handmade by our trusted network of skilled knitters and are available as they are completed. Because these pieces are created in the knitters’ preferred patterns, colours and sizes, they’re ready to ship and offered at a more accessible price point.

Occasionally, this collection may also include carefully selected pre-loved handmade knitwear, chosen for its quality, character and craftsmanship. Any pre-loved pieces will always be clearly labelled.

Heirloom Knits

Our Heirloom Knits are created exclusively for Wilde Child and made to order just for you. Each piece is handcrafted using traditional techniques, allowing you to choose from our range of designs, colours and personalised details. As every item is made especially for your family, these pieces have a slightly longer turnaround time and are designed to be treasured for generations.
